Welcome to Gateway Elementary

Gateway Elementary is proud to be a public school and part of the School District of Lee County. We have been providing high quality education for our students for over 25 years. Gateway Elementary opened its doors in August of 1992. We now teach over 800 students in grades PK-5. We have 80 dedicated staff members including 51 highly-qualified instructional staff.

We embrace our district mission to provide a high-quality education to help each student reach his or her highest potential. We encourage our students to practice good citizenship, demonstrate respect for others, and use problem-solving skills in order to prepare for the challenges of our ever-changing world. We focus on standards based instruction using data driven decisions and student engagement to enhance learning and achievement.
