We Love Thinking Maps at Gateway Elementary!
Thinking Maps give students a consistent concrete visual pattern for an abstract cognitive skill. All classes at Gateway Elementary successfully use Thinking Maps on a regular basis.
“Thinking Maps store information the way the brain does.” -Pat Wolfe, author of Building The Reading Brain
Thinking maps help students organize their thoughts and information received through text. Students use the maps to make connections to what they have read and learned about. Students can also use Thinking Maps to organize their writing.
