Gateway's Parent Teacher Association

Dear Parents/ Guardians:

     Gateway Elementary School PTA is looking for members!  This group is VERY supportive of  YOUR CHILD’S education. As a Gateway Elementary parent, we encourage you to become a member of this wonderful group. At Gateway the PTA shares funds that allow teachers to purchase materials to enhance the students’ education and extra supplies for the classrooms. The PTA works hard at some of the fun events held here at school – Family Fun Night, Spring Fling, Book Fair and landscaping beautification projects.  Often if you see a parent volunteer, you are seeing our PTA at work.

     The state and national levels of the PTA lobby our legislators to add funding for education, to keep the laws supportive of student achievement, to be an advocate of health laws that benefit our children and so much more. Membership in our Gateway Elementary PTA includes, at no extra charge, membership in the State of Florida PTA and National PTA organizations.

     There are many levels of helping at Gateway with a PTA membership;

~ One is to be active on the board,

~ Two is to be a committee member planning events,

~ Third is to be a card carrying member who helps when they can (most parents).

We know your child’s education is important to you; our Gateway PTA’s mission is to be supportive of YOUR STUDENT’S education. Please send in your membership as soon as possible.
