Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Gateway’s PTA works hard to help enrich our children’s elementary school experience. Our organization conducts fundraisers for a variety of things to enhance students' experiences at school :
- Purchase additional classroom materials and supplies
- Support special class events
- Help meet many other needs at Gateway such as beautification projects
- Family and classroom social events designed to enrich the learning environment
Your membership in our PTA is fun, affordable - and it makes a difference. Please join PTA for $5.00. The Gateway PTA is part of a national program that also lobbies at the state and local levels for additional school funding for education, to advance and keep laws supportive of student achievement and be advocates of health laws that benefit our children.
There are a host of opportunities available to you as a PTA member/volunteer.
The PTA sponsors or is involved with many on campus activities such as the yearbook, a holiday gift house, the Edison Junior Parade, family nights at Bamboozles and fundraisers like cookie dough and spirit sleeves.
Everyone is welcome to attend PTA board meetings and general meetings!
All meetings are in the media center.
